I GOT CRAFTY

I had bought my partner a sewing machine for his birthday present as he likes to sew and so far I have only let him thread it as i have commandeered it lol.
I bought material in the charity shop that i work in for 75pence and made four of these tea towels and four napkins to match.
I was really pleased with the way they turned out ,i know my stitching is not perfectly straight but not bad for a first practice.
They are washed and pressed and in my suitcase already for going to the house in France in July.
I cant wait lol

Hi Andrea, My house is still horrendous!!! Its very slow going as Mr K has alot of woodwork to do before I can do the nice bits and at the moment he is working 6 days a week. Just going to B&Q takes us 3-4 hours as we live so far away and trying to get Mr K up early on his one day off to go buy supplies is proving difficult, so for the past 3 weekends Ive had about 6 hours of labour, but as its unpaid I cant complain *wink*. Managed to get him up early this morning by wafting fresh coffee and croissants under his nose and just got back from the dreaded B&Q so hoping he will get quite abit done this afternoon. The bits I have done arent interesting to show as Ive just been painting skirting boards and door frames. Cant wait to get my wallpaper up though X

LOL! You have dementia setting in too?..... Oh dear that doesnt sound like you had much fun in France this time. Leaking roofs are not good!!! Im still upside down here, Mr K has had one day off in the past 2 weeks so still no further forward in my decorating as Im waiting for him to finish the tongue and groove in the sitting room. But good news today, our electricity bill has gone down from £154 per month to £26 YAY!!! I might put on the central heating to celebrate LOL! X
